Lighthouse Family play the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on their 'Ocean Drive' tour, with their greatest hits.
Lighthouse Family play the Royal Concert Hall on Monday 22 March 2027, starting at 7:00pm. It's one date in a 16-stop tour across the UK and Ireland throughout March, and the set is built around their 1995 debut album, Ocean Drive, alongside their greatest hits.
If you're coming to them through that record, you're in good company. Ocean Drive was a breakthrough for the duo, certified six times platinum in the UK and selling more than 15 million copies worldwide. It gave them hits like 'Lifted', 'Ocean Drive' and 'Goodbye Heartbreak', the kind of songs that stayed on the radio long after the album first came out. This tour puts that record centre stage, so you'll hear it played in full, with the hits from their later years filling in around it.
The duo formed in Newcastle in the early 1990s, with vocalist Tunde Baiyewu and songwriter, keyboardist and producer Paul Tucker at the helm. Their sound—pop-soul with a smooth, melodic edge—found a huge audience with Ocean Drive, and they've spent the years since touring and recording. This run of dates is a look back at that debut and the best of what followed, so it's as much about the early years as it is about the hits that followed.
