Halloween pre-party of the weekly alternative club night Jump Ship at The Walrus, with loud music, cheap drinks and an 18+ door policy.
Jump Ship are back at The Walrus on Wednesday 28 October for their Halloween pre-party. If you've been around the city's mid-week scene, you'll know the name: Jump Ship is Nottingham's regular Wednesday alternative club night, and this is their lead-up to Halloween.
They've built the night around a simple, three-part tagline: 'Loud Music - Cheap Drinks - Awesome People'. That's the same formula they're sticking to for the pre-party, so you know what to expect. It's a loud one, the drinks are kept affordable, and it's an 18+ door policy, so you'll need a valid ID to get in. If you're a regular, you'll know the drill, but if it's your first time, that's the gist of it.
There are a few ways to handle the door. You can buy tickets in advance for fast-track entry, which saves you the queue on the night, or you can just pay on the door. If you work in the industry, there are discounts available at the door, too. And if you're into the merch, they've got t-shirts for sale.

It runs from 10:00pm to 3:00am, so it's a proper late one. Tickets range from free up to £11.50, depending on how you buy them.
