Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra on their 2026 tour, with special guest Roachford, opening act Joe Webb and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Sumudu Jayatilaka.
Jools Holland is back at the Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday 25 November, bringing his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to Nottingham as part of his 2026 tour. It's a big band on stage, and they're not coming alone.
Supporting the main set is Roachford, one of the UK's most celebrated soul voices. He's probably best known for 'Cuddly Toy', which topped the UK charts in 1988, but he's also a songwriter in demand — Michael Jackson, Joss Stone and Chaka Khan have all gone to him for material. Opening the night is Joe Webb, one of the UK's most exciting young pianists and improvisers, who has guested with Jools on stage and appeared on his latest BBC New Year's Eve Jools' Annual Hootenanny.
On the main stage, the orchestra is joined by Ruby Turner, the 'Boogie Woogie Queen', alongside the vocals of Louise Marshall and Sumudu Jayatilaka. The whole thing is built around Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, the world-renowned ensemble he's toured with for years. The Royal Concert Hall and the Theatre Royal are among the UK's most successful touring venues, so this is a familiar stop for them.
