Jack Savoretti

Jack Savoretti is playing the Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday 11 November, with the show starting at 7:00 PM. He's the main draw on the bill, and he's bringing Steph Fraser along as his special guest for the night, so there's two acts to hear rather than just one.

If you've followed Savoretti for a while, you know his voice is the thing that sticks — that gravelly, soulful quality that works as well on a quiet acoustic set as it does when things open up. He's built his name around that, and it's what usually carries the room. Having Steph Fraser on as a guest adds another layer to the evening, and it's worth keeping in mind that the night is built around the two of them sharing the stage.

The Royal Concert Hall is right in the heart of Nottingham, over in Theatre Square, so it's an easy one to get to without having to trek across the city. It's a proper seated venue, which suits the kind of night this is — the sort of gig where you're meant to actually listen to the singing rather than spend the whole time on your feet. If you're coming from outside the centre, it's Theatre Square, Nottingham, NG1 5ND, and since it's a Wednesday, it's a mid-week one rather than a weekend date.

So, that's the setup: Jack Savoretti with Steph Fraser at the Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday 11 November, starting at 7:00 PM.
