Indiepalooza, a touring indie-rock tribute festival, brings a night of cover versions of The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Sam Fender to The Level Nottingham.
Indiepalooza comes to The Level on Saturday 5 December, with Kopycat Killers, Scam Fender, Subarctic Monkeys and Oasis 96 sharing the bill. It's a touring indie-rock tribute festival that puts a night's worth of cover versions on one bill, drawing from the catalogues of The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Sam Fender, Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs. The night runs from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at The Level on Shakespeare Street, NG1 4GH.
Across the four acts, you'll hear crowd favourites like 'Mr Brightside', 'Don't Look Back In Anger', 'Wonderwall' and 'I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor'. The tribute acts are billed as some of the best in the world, playing festivals across the UK and abroad.
Two of the names on the bill have their own specific focus. Scam Fender comes from Newcastle and stages Sam Fender's anthemic, working-class indie rock alongside Bruce Springsteen songs. Oasis 96 was created by The Kopycats Tribute Band Agency, fronted by Miguel Carling as 'Liam', and sticks to a pre-1996 setlist of classic hits.
