Charity dance session raising money for Framework Nottingham to support people affected by homelessness, for over-16s.
Dance for the Disadvantaged takes over Mssng Pieces on Saturday 31 October, a charity dance session running from 14:00 right through to 02:00. It's a long one, twelve hours of music and dancing that starts in the afternoon and carries on well into the next morning, so you've got plenty of room to come and go as you please rather than committing to the whole stretch.
The day is billed as one of music, community and togetherness, and there's a clear cause behind it: the event raises money for Framework Nottingham, a charity that supports people affected by homelessness in the city. So, if you're out on the dancefloor, you're also contributing to their work. It's the kind of afternoon that works just as well if you're there for the music as it does if you're there for the cause.

On the practical side, it's an over-16s event, and you'll need to bring photo ID to get in. If you're planning to stay late, keep in mind it runs until 2am, so you've got a full day's worth of dancing to work through. Tickets start from £9.07, and the whole thing is held at Mssng Pieces, 34 Heathcoat Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AA.
