Getdown Services play Rock City on Talbot Street in Nottingham, with special guests Shelf Lives, on The Massive Champion Tour.
Getdown Services play Rock City on Friday 4 December, with Shelf Lives on support. The Nottingham date is part of The Massive Champion Tour, and the show is listed as sold out.
Getdown Services are Josh Law and Ben Sadler, who met at school in Minehead, Somerset, and make their music together at home in Bristol. Their debut album, Crisps, came out on 9 November 2023 via Breakfast Records, and since then they've kept adding to the catalogue: two EPs, Your Medal's In The Post and Primordial Slot Machine, and two collections of demos, Crumbs and Crumbs 2. There's also a new single, The Radiator, which sits alongside the rest.
Between the album, the EPs, the demo collections and the new single, there's a fair bit of ground for them to draw from for the set. The Nottingham show is one stop on The Massive Champion Tour, and with Shelf Lives opening, it's a full night of music. The venue is Rock City, 8 Talbot Street, NG1 5GG.
