G4 bring their Christmas tour of carols, sacred contemplations and festive hits to the Albert Hall.
G4 are back at the Albert Hall on Thursday 10 December, part of another run of their G4 Christmas tour. The show is built around the group's signature blend of voices, with renditions of traditional carols, sacred contemplations, classical favourites and modern festive hits. Among them are Silent Night, O Holy Night, All I Want for Christmas, Walking in the Air, When a Child is Born and The 12 Days of Christmas, delivered with harmonies and showmanship. The tour takes in cathedrals, priories, minsters, halls and abbeys across the UK, and it sells out year after year.
Behind the name are the four voices that make the sound: Jonathan Ansell, Michael Christie, Duncan Sandilands and Michael Conway. They're known for that operatic crossover style, and this set leans into it, mixing the older carols with more contemporary Christmas songs. It's a broad reach—the sacred stuff alongside the pop hits—and the whole thing is carried by the four of them singing together. If you've seen them before, you'll know the format: the harmonies are the main thing, and the setlist is designed to hit a few different moods across the evening.
