Over-18s Halloween party with FRNCHSE spinning R&B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, House and Afrobeats, with a best costume prize.
FRNCHSE are back at Ronin Bar on Thursday 29 October for their Halloween Party in the Middle, a mid-week one that sits a few days before the actual day. It's a return to the same venue, so if you've been before, you know the spot.
The music is a heavy rotation of R&B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, House and Afrobeats, and they've made a point of their "no rinsed-out club tunes" policy — so you're less likely to hear the same few tracks that get played at every other night in town. It's a broad mix, and the different styles run alongside each other throughout the night rather than being split into separate slots.
They're leaning on the crowd to dress the part, too. You're encouraged to turn up in your sickest, scariest or most creative Halloween fits, and there's a special prize for the best costume, so if you've been working on something, this is a good place to wear it. It's an over-18s night, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a group.

It runs from 9:00pm to 2:00am, with last entry at 11:30pm, so you've got a decent window to get in without rushing. Tickets are £7.50 to £10, and the venue is Ronin Bar, 7 Hockley, Nottingham NG1 1FH.
