Fisherman's Friends play the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, fresh from their 2026 UK tour dates.
Fisherman's Friends play the Royal Concert Hall on Thursday 4 November 2027, part of a 36-date UK tour running from February through to November across theatres and concert halls nationwide. They're coming to Nottingham fresh from their 2026 UK dates, which sold out, and a successful Australian tour earlier that same year.
It's a long run of shows, and the Nottingham date falls toward the end of it. The band announced the tour while opening their first-ever festival in Cornwall, and they've spoken about how that felt 'incredibly special' given where they started: singing on The Platt in Port Isaac. That's the Cornish fishing village where the group first came together, and that connection to the coast still sits at the heart of what they do.
The set is their usual mix of shanties and folk songs, the kind of music that works as well in a concert hall as it does on a harbour wall. If you've followed them from the early days, you'll recognise the sound—the harmonies and the sea shanties that first made them known. If you're coming to them for the first time, it's a good place to start.
