New Year's Eve night with live cover band El Duderino and a party disco that runs through midnight and into the early hours.
El Duderino are playing Beeston Victory Club on Thursday 31 December, the night of New Year's Eve. They're a three-piece cover band, and the set is built around hits from several decades. The names they list cover a fair bit of ground: The Killers, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Simple Minds, INXS, Bryan Adams, Van Halen, Stereophonics, Muse, Dire Straits, Blur, and plenty more. It's a wide reach, so you'll hear 80s synth-pop and guitar rock alongside more recent indie and stadium stuff, rather than one particular era.
The live set is paired with a party disco, which takes over after the band finishes and keeps the dancing going through midnight and well into the early hours of the new year. So the night starts with the live band and carries on with the disco long after the clock strikes twelve.
