Over-18s afternoon disco session hosted by Janet and Charms, working its way back through the years with classic disco music.
Decades Disco comes to St Jude's Church in Mapperley on Saturday 7 November, a three-hour afternoon session that works its way back through the years with classic disco vibes and nonstop dance floor fun. It's presented by When Women Gather, and the whole thing is hosted by Janet and Charms, who'll be guiding the afternoon as it celebrates the spirit of disco through the ages. The music is the main event here, and the format is simple: three hours of disco, with the set moving backwards through the decades.
It's an afternoon affair, so you're in and out while it's still light, which makes it an easy one to fit in without committing your whole evening. The disco is strictly for over-18s, so it's an adult crowd on the dance floor. Soft drinks will be on sale on the day, and you're welcome to bring your own alcohol if you'd rather have something specific in hand. There's free parking available on site, which is a handy detail for a Mapperley venue.

The session runs from 13:30 to 16:30, so you've got three full hours to work your way back through the years. Tickets are £11.55, and with the free parking on site, it's a straightforward one to get to.
