Daytime Christmas Day club party with dance music from the 80s, 90s and 00s, neon light shows and festive giveaways at NG-ONE.
DayClubbers are bringing their Christmas Day party to NG ONE on Saturday 5 December, from 4pm to 8pm. It's a daytime club night, which is the whole point of the thing: you get the dance floor and the social side of a club without staying out until the early hours, and you're home in time for dinner rather than waking up the next day feeling like you've been run over by a bus.
This is a touring event that's played sold-out dates around the world, and the Christmas edition adds a few festive touches to the usual setup. There will be free festive giveaways, neon light shows, confetti cannons, and a camera crew on hand, with the venue given a full club make-over for the afternoon. The music comes from OG DJs playing dance floor fillers, singalong classics and forgotten favourites from the 80s, 90s and 00s — the kind of tracks that most people know the words to, even if they can't remember the title.
It's pitched at people who love music, dancing and being social but don't want the hassle, expense and following-day exhaustion of clubbing until 3am. One attendee described it as 'the best time I've had for 25 years', which gives you a rough idea of the crowd it tends to draw.
