Halloween-themed 18+ cocktail night at Coco Tang, staged as a spooky experience in an ancient cave with skeletons and spirits.
Coco Tang is leaning into its subterranean roots for Halloween this year, with The Crypt taking over the cocktail bar on Thursday 29 October. It's a cocktail session that runs from 9pm right through to 3am, so it's more of a late one than a quick drink.
If you've never been, Coco Tang is one of Nottingham's original underground boutique cocktail clubs, and it's been around since 2008. The interiors sprawl beneath the city streets across several rooms, with a tropical rooftop garden that stays open late. The Crypt plays on that subterranean setting: the club sits inside an ancient cave, and the night is staged as a Halloween experience of caves and catacombs. There'll be sinister sounds, skeletons and spirits — both the liquor-based kind and the ghostly sort — playing on the idea that the hidden vaults beneath the streets have served as burial places, with walls lined with skulls and chambers filled with bones.
