Bitcoin Nottingham November Meetup

Bitcoin Nottingham are back for their November meetup on Sunday 1 November, this time at O'Connors Irish Bar in West Bridgford. It's the group's new venue, and there's a bit of a local hook to it: the bar has recently started accepting Bitcoin, so you can actually use it to pay for your drinks while you're there.

The night is built around a talk on freedom tech and vibecoding, with a speaker coming in to lead the session. Around that, it's the usual meetup format: people gathering to talk Bitcoin, catch up on the latest news from the space, and chat through new technologies. The group is open to anyone interested in learning about Bitcoin, so you don't need to be an expert to turn up and join in.

There's free pizza on the night, sponsored by DTV Electronics, and the organisers are encouraging people to bring along their own Bitcoin merch if they've got any. The Bitcoin Nottingham group runs monthly meetups, workshops and networking events across the city, and this is the November instalment.

It kicks off at 6:00 PM at O'Connors Irish Bar, 33 Central Ave, West Bridgford, NG2 5GQ, in the function room upstairs.
