Ballistik: Pool Tournament

Ballistik are hosting a pool tournament at Movers on Thursday 22 October, starting at 19:00. It's a straightforward one: a pool tournament run by Ballistik, held at Movers in the city centre. If you've spent any time around the pool tables in Nottingham, you'll know the drill — players going head-to-head in a knockout format until only one is left standing.

Movers is over on Hockley, at 15 Hockley, NG1 1FH, right in the thick of the city. It's a central spot, so it's easy to get to whether you're coming in from the suburbs or just walking over from work. The tournament kicks off at 19:00 on the Thursday, and it's a long one, running through until Friday 23 October. That means it's not just a quick evening thing; it stretches across two nights, so you'll want to keep your schedule clear if you're planning to play through to the later rounds.

One of the best bits is that entry is free, which takes the pressure off if you're just coming along to see how you stack up against the local crowd. You don't need to worry about a buy-in, so it's as much about the game as anything else. Whether you're a regular who knows every trick in the book or someone who just enjoys a few frames with friends, the free entry makes it an easy one to commit to.

So, if you fancy a night of pool in the city, that's the Ballistik Pool Tournament at Movers, 15 Hockley, NG1 1FH, starting at 19:00 on Thursday 22 October and running into Friday 23 October, with free entry.
