Afta Dark and HYPA are teaming up for New Year's Eve at Secret Vault on Talbot Street, bringing an alternative celebration to Nottingham rooted in the city's underground scene. Both are established underground music promoters, and this is a joint night rather than a single act, with the booking leaning on house, minimal and tech house. Guest DJs and live performances run across the bill, so it's a full night of dance music rather than a one-off set.
Secret Vault is a venue that hosts a weekly Saturday night tradition of late-night sets, and this New Year's Eve special follows that same late-night energy. The atmosphere is kept intentionally intimate and underground, running from the opening of the doors on New Year's Eve right through to the early hours of New Year's morning, so you can stay on the dancefloor well past the midnight countdown.
