Underground house club night Afta Dark returns to the Secret Vault on Talbot Street with a night of electronic music and DJs.
Jelsen is the name on the bill for Afta Dark at Secret Vault on Saturday 24 October. It's part of a regular Saturday night that runs from 10:30pm through to 3:30am, so it's a late one that takes you well into the early hours.
Afta Dark is a Nottingham club night that returns the city to the underground every Saturday, and the Secret Vault on Talbot Street is its home. The series is built as a dedicated space for electronic music and club culture, with an extended floor that gives DJs and live artists room to showcase their craft. The organisers commit to booking a mix of established names and emerging talent from across the electronic music community, and the night leans towards house music. Jelsen takes the helm for this one, keeping the floor moving throughout the session.
Because it's a Saturday night, you've got the whole evening to work around it. The music starts at 10:30pm and runs until 3:30am, so it's a five-hour stretch of house and electronic music rather than a quick set. If you're coming from across the city, that gives you plenty of time for dinner and drinks before you head down to Talbot Street. The Secret Vault is right in the centre, easy enough to get to and just as easy to get home from when the lights finally come up.

Tickets are £5 to £15, and with the night running until 3:30am, you've got a long window to settle in. Jelsen is the focus of the night, and the music leans house, so that's what to expect from the booth. It all kicks off at 10:30pm at Secret Vault, 5 Talbot Street, NG1 5RH.
