90 minute Sound Bath Journey, Live Saxophone Soundscape

Marcus Joseph is hosting a 90-minute sound bath at AWOKENstudio in Beeston on Saturday 14 November, from 15:00 to 16:30. The whole session is built around his live saxophone soundscape, which carries the experience from start to finish rather than sitting as a backdrop.

It's a guided session, so you're not just left to your own devices. The idea is to breathe, release tension and let the sound move through you, and Joseph describes it as a journey you follow rather than a performance you watch. It's an over-18s session, and it's held in person, so you'll be in the room with the saxophone live, not listening to a recording.

AWOKENstudio is at 383a High Road, Beeston, NG9 5EA. There's a single step at the entrance, and free on-street parking nearby or across the road at The Cadland pub. One thing to keep in mind: doors close promptly when the session begins, so it's worth arriving five or ten minutes early to get settled before things get underway. Tickets are £33.22.
