Discussion of William Ralston's book 'The Impossible Job', with bookselling and book signing.
William Ralston is coming to The Forum on Saturday 24 October, where he'll be talking about his book, The Impossible Job. It's part of the Norwich Book Festival, so if you've been following the festival's line-up this year, this is one of the sessions to keep on your radar.
The evening is built around the book itself. Ralston will be discussing The Impossible Job in conversation, so you'll hear him talk through the ideas and stories that make up the work rather than just hearing a summary of it. It's a chance to get the story from the person who actually wrote it, and if you've already read the book, it's a good way to see which parts he chooses to dwell on.
There's more to the night than just the talk, too. Books will be on sale, so you can pick up a copy of The Impossible Job on the spot, and Ralston will be signing them afterwards. If you're coming along without a copy, you can grab one there and get it signed in the same go; if you've already got your copy at home, you can just bring it along for the signature.

It runs from 7.00pm to 8.00pm at The Forum, so it's a single hour in the heart of the city on a Saturday night. If you're planning to make a proper evening of it, there's plenty around the city centre to do before and after. The talk starts at 7.00pm and wraps up by 8.00pm, with the bookselling and signing happening around it.
