Saturday daytime courses and day schools for adults taught by qualified tutors at The Forum, on the ground floor of the Millennium Library.
Norwich Lifelong Learning are running their Saturday courses at The Forum throughout the autumn, with the next one on 7 November. It's part of a wider run of dates that started back in September, so if you've missed the first few, there's still plenty of room to get involved.
For those who haven't come across them before, Norwich Lifelong Learning is a not-for-profit organisation that puts on daytime courses and day schools for adults in and around the city. The sessions are taught by experienced and qualified tutors, and the whole thing is aimed at adults who want to pick up something brand new. It's not about a quick taster; these are proper day-long sessions that give you a real chance to get stuck into a subject.
The courses run on the ground floor of the Millennium Library inside The Forum, right in the city centre. If you're driving in, the venue has a spacious and secure car park, and the parking there supports a charity as well as The Forum's own free programme of events and festivals. It's a handy spot to reach from anywhere in the city, and having it inside the library means you're in a familiar, accessible part of the building.

Booking is essential, and prices vary by course, so you'll need to check the specific one you're interested in before you commit. The sessions run from 10.30am to 3.30pm, and the full autumn schedule includes Saturdays 26 September, 17 October, 7 November, 14 November and 5 December 2026. If you're looking for something to do on a Saturday that's more about learning than just killing time, this is a good place to start.
