Author Adele Parks MBE opens the Norwich Book Festival 2026 with a talk and book signing.
Adele Parks opens the Norwich Book Festival 2026 at The Auditorium on Saturday 24 October, with a talk and a book signing to follow. It's the first session of the festival, which runs from 24 to 30 October, so if you're planning to see more across the week, this is the place to start.
Parks is a well-known name in crime fiction, with 25 bestselling novels to her credit. Those books have been translated into 31 languages, so she's read far beyond the UK. Outside of her writing, she's a long-standing ambassador for the National Literacy Trust, which gives you a sense of where she stands on reading and literacy.
The session itself is a talk, and the signing comes afterwards, so you'll have a chance to hear her speak and then get a copy signed. It's a good way to kick off the festival, especially if you've followed her work over the years.
