Cosmic Jo's Galactic Trading Outpost is a collectibles shop with a cafe, on Bedford Street in Norwich. The address is 25 Bedford Street, NR2 1AG. The building used to be Hovell's basket shop and sits on the corner with Bridewell Alley.

The shop covers two floors and specialises in Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Animation, Retro Toys and Pop Culture Collectibles. The range is wide. You will find Disney pieces going back to the 1940s, along with pins and some rarer figures. There is Star Wars stock, including retired Lego sets, as well as items from Doctor Who, Marvel, The Simpsons, Pokemon Trading Cards, Smurfs, He-Man, ET, Toy Story, The Six Million Dollar Man, Gremlins and Tron. The shop does not post or ship orders, but it will hold items for you to collect in person.
The cafe is on the lower ground floor and has an American theme. The menu includes Pan-Galactic Pancakes at £7.95 for a short stack of three, with vegan and gluten-free versions available. Extra toppings cost 50p each, ice cream adds £1.00 and extra pancakes cost £1.00 each. The Galactic Grilled Cheese is an American-style cheese toastie served with crisps, priced at £4.00. The shakes are a big part of the menu. The Cosmic Shakes come in Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Biscoff, Banana, Butterscotch and Honeycomb at £4.25 each, with toppings at 50p. The Deluxe Shakes range from £4.95 to £5.25 and include the Darth Malt Shake at £5.25 and The Buzz at £4.95. The cafe also serves a blue "dark side" milkshake, which it describes as tasting like liquid Maltesers.
For drinks, the coffee menu runs from an Americano at £2.95 to a Mocha at £3.60, with Cappuccino and Latte at £3.50 and a Flat White at £3.30. Oat milk adds 40p and syrups add 30p. Tea is served as Time-Warp Tea at £2.00 a cup, with options including Earl Grey, Peppermint and Green Tea. The Hyperdrive Hot Chocolate costs £3.50. Dessert options include Inter-Dimensional Ice Cream, a soft serve tub with wafers and sprinkles for £2.95, which comes with a free choice of syrup. The soda fountain offers Cosmic Floats, Cosmic Snowball and Pineapple Whip at £2.95 each, and a Cosmic Butterbeer at £1.95. There are also canned sodas, water, crisps and sweets.
The shop opens Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 17:30 and Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. Since today is Wednesday, it is open until 17:00.
