The Rabbitts perform on their UK album release tour, blending folk, alternative and atmospheric pop.
The Rabbitts play The Cluny on Wednesday 2 December, part of their UK album release tour. They're a Norwich-based band whose music blurs folk, alternative and atmospheric pop, built around mandolin, guitar, bass and drums. BBC Radio 6 Music described their sound as 'ethereal and understated', and the set will mix new songs from the upcoming record with older favourites.
It's been a busy couple of years for them. They spent the start of 2026 in an immersive, isolated creative retreat in the mountains, and the new album comes out on 13 November, just a few weeks before this date. The tour that follows it comes on the back of a 2025 run that sold out multiple UK dates, and the release of Orbital Collection, a series of four EPs spread over twelve months. Critics have called their work 'hypnotic' (Obscure Sound) and 'intricately lush and completely captivating' (Podcart).
On the night, the band's sound comes from the combination of mandolin, guitar, bass and drums, with delicate harmonies running through. The set draws from the new album and the earlier material they've built up over the last few years, so you'll hear the new songs alongside the older ones. The night is presented by Silver Birch Sound and is open to all ages, though under-16s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
