A themed skating night for Olivia Dean fans to skate and sing along to her songs at the Life Science Centre's outdoor ice rink.
The Art of Skating - Olivia Dean Night comes to the Life Science Centre on Sunday 15 November, part of the venue's Christmas programme. The whole thing is built around an outdoor ice rink that runs throughout the festive season, and this particular night is themed for Olivia Dean fans: you skate under twinkling lights and sing along to her songs while you're at it. It's open to skaters of all abilities, adults and teens alike, so you don't need to be any good on the ice to get involved.
Each session lasts about an hour, which includes the time it takes to get your skates on, leaving around 45 minutes of actual skating. The skates are provided, so you don't need to bring your own. There's also a suggestion to turn up in something glamorous, though that's entirely optional—you can keep it as low-key as you like. Because space is limited, booking online is recommended, and there are flexi-tickets available if your plans are still a bit up in the air.
