Fontaines D.C.

Fontaines D.C. play St James' Park on Thursday 1 July 2027, their first-ever stadium show in the North East. It's one of five outdoor headline dates that summer, with the others in Cardiff, London, Manchester and Glasgow, and St James' Park is the only one of the lot in this part of the country.

They're an Irish rock band and BRIT award winners, often described as one of the most compelling live acts of their generation. They've spent the last few years playing larger and larger venues across Europe and North America, and they sold out their entire UK arena tour. They've also been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, and were nominated in Newcastle the year before this one.

St James' Park is the tour's only North East stop, and Newcastle United's COO Brad Miller has pointed to the stadium's history of hosting world-class events as the reason it was chosen. The band is supporting War Child UK, with £1 from every ticket sold going to the charity.

Tickets are sold as premium hospitality packages: Bronze starts from £236 inc VAT per person, Silver from £300, Gold from £438 and Platinum from £708, with a £10 booking fee on top. All the prices are per person.
