Robbie Williams is bringing his BRITPOP World Tour to Newcastle, with the show locked in for Tuesday 17 November 2026 at the McDonald Jones Stadium. Tickets are the main thing to sort first. General on-sale opened on Thursday 26 March at 2:00 pm local time, with presales running earlier through Telstra, the artist and Frontier. Ticketmaster handles the Australian sales, and there is a limit of six tickets per purchaser per show. Prices run from A$119.90 for E Reserve up to A$299.90 for A Reserve, with front GA standing at A$199.90 and rear GA at A$159.90. If you want something more, the VIP packages sit at the top end: BRITPOP VIP at A$699.90, Rocket VIP at A$599.90 and Pretty Face VIP at A$499.90. Tickets are mobile-only, so you will need the Ticketmaster app or a mobile wallet to get in.
The VIP options are worth a quick look if you are weighing them up. BRITPOP VIP gives you an A Reserve seated ticket plus entry to the BRITPOP Lounge with light canapés, one complimentary drink, a private cash bar, merchandise shopping, a limited edition tour gift, a commemorative laminate and lanyard, and priority VIP check-in. Rocket VIP also lands you an A Reserve seat but swaps the lounge for early entry, early merchandise access, a tour programme, a laminate and lanyard, and priority check-in. Pretty Face VIP is the one for standing, with a Front GA ticket, early entry to the venue and floor, early merchandise access, a tour programme, a laminate and lanyard, and priority check-in.
Opening the bill are G Flip and Lottery Winners. G Flip, born Georgia Claire Flipo in St Kilda in 1993, is an Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who uses they/them pronouns and has put out albums like About Us, Drummer and Drum Ride. Lottery Winners round out the support.
For the night itself, the McDonald Jones Stadium is Newcastle's home of sport and entertainment, and it is not far from the city centre. Broadmeadow railway station is about a 15-minute walk away, and there is a bus stop and taxi rank right at the front on Turton Road, which makes it easy to get to and from without a car. If you are coming from out of town, Newcastle Airport is well connected to the city by train and bus, so you can base yourself in the centre and head out to Broadmeadow for the show.
As for the man himself, Robbie Williams has been at this a long time. Born Robert Peter Williams in Stoke-on-Trent in 1974, he was in Take That from 1990 to 1995 before going solo in 1996. He has since put out twelve studio albums, a soundtrack, a live album, ten compilation albums, an EP, eleven video albums, sixty-seven singles and fifty-eight music videos, and holds the record for the most number-one albums in Official Charts history at sixteen, with over 21.1 million solo albums sold in the UK. The tour takes its name from his Britpop album, released in January 2026.
