Horror-punk icon Wednesday 13 performs with his current band, joined by supporting acts Dead on a Sunday and Above Snakes.
Wednesday 13 plays The Basement East on Monday, October 26, with Dead on a Sunday and Above Snakes opening. It's a horror-punk night, and the set is built around a full run of Murderdolls songs from the band's 2002 debut Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls and their 2010 return Women And Children Last, which won Revolver's Golden Gods Comeback Of The Year Award.
Wednesday 13 fronts the show with his current band, which includes Murderdolls alumni Roman Surman and Jack Tankersley. The Murderdolls were led by Wednesday 13 and the late Joey Jordison, and they drew on classic horror to build a colossal cult following. More than 20 years after those albums came out, and following Jordison's death, Wednesday 13 has said it felt right to bring those songs back live. That's the core of this set: the early records played through to the end.
