verygently present their debut full-length album SORRY, SARAH at Exit/In in this album release show.
verygently are playing Exit/In on Sunday, October 11, for the release show of their debut full-length album, SORRY, SARAH. The record came out two days earlier, on October 9, so this is the first time the new songs are being played as a headline set.
If you haven't kept up with them, verygently is a collective of three Nashville singer-songwriters — Drew Erwin, Joey Hendricks and Tristan Bushman — who had been collaborating for a long time before officially becoming a band in 2024. Their sound is built around three-part harmonies, and they describe their songwriting as blending sharp wit with emotional candor. Before this full-length, they put out two EPs, DUMBA$$ MODE and FAME!, which they say balance heartache with humor.
They've spent the last couple of years opening for acts like Augustana, The Fray, The Band Camino and Ruston Kelly, so this is one of their first times taking the top bill at a place like Exit/In. The set will center on SORRY, SARAH, the debut they've been working toward since they formed as a band.
