Metalcore and hardcore concert headlined by Wage War, featuring Varials, We Came As Romans and Cane Hill on the Emergency Broadcast Tour.
Varials are playing Marathon Music Works on Tuesday, November 24, as part of Wage War's Emergency Broadcast Tour. They're sharing the bill with Wage War, We Came As Romans, and Cane Hill, so it's a full night of heavy music rather than a single headliner. The show starts at 6 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.
Varials come from Philadelphia, and they describe their sound as hardcore intensity and nu-metal groove channeled into something unapologetically human. They've built their name on a reputation for unflinching honesty across Pain Again, In Darkness, and Scars for You to Remember. Their fourth album, WHERE THE LIGHT LEAVES (Fearless Records), was framed as a rebirth and produced by Josh Schroeder, who has worked with Lorna Shore and Dayseeker. The current lineup consists of Skyler Conder, Mike Foley, Sean Rauchut, and Shane Lyons.
Wage War, the Florida quintet leading the tour, has a long run of albums behind them: Blueprints (2015), Deadweight (2017), Pressure (2019), Manic (2021), and STIGMA (2025). Michigan's We Came As Romans have been around since 2005 and released Darkbloom in 2022, produced by Drew Fulk, which gave them the hit "Black Hole" with Caleb Shomo of BEARTOOTH. New Orleans' Cane Hill rounds out the lineup.
