Country music showcase featuring Vanessa Lynn Bird, Madeline Dominique and Lauren Elissie as part of the Rodeo Juliets series.
Vanessa Lynn Bird plays The '58 at Eastside Bowl on Wednesday, October 28, as part of the Rodeo Juliets country music showcase. She's sharing the bill with Madeline Dominique and Lauren Elissie, and the three of them will be backed by a full band throughout the night, with a few group surprises mixed in. It's a showcase format, so you get three different songwriters on one stage rather than just one act.
Bird comes to Nashville from San Antonio, where she started her first band back in 2011. She made the move to the city in 2021 to keep releasing original music, co-writing, and working on a new album. Her debut EP, Burn Brighter, hit number 36 on the iTunes Country charts, and she's played across Texas, including singing the National Anthem at San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Stars games. She was also named a top five finalist for the Texas CMA's Female Vocalist of the Year. When she talks about who she listens to, Kelsea Ballerini and Shania Twain come up as influences.

Since the Rodeo Juliets showcase pairs all three artists with a full band, the night is built around that shared sound rather than three separate, stripped-back sets. Doors open at 6 PM, and the music runs from 7 to 10 PM. Entry is $10 at the door.
