Concert by singer-songwriter Tyler Ballgame accompanied by Evan Blix at The Blue Room at Third Man Records.
Tyler Ballgame plays The Blue Room at Third Man Records on Thursday, November 5, with Evan Blix opening. The show is part of his 2026 U.S. tour, and it's one of the few times he'll be passing through Nashville this year.
Ballgame is a singer-songwriter from Rhode Island, now based in Los Angeles. He describes his work as growing out of the idea of "radical presence in expression" — the notion that each live performance is a chance to transcend the ordinary digital. It's a way of talking about the difference between a recording and a room full of people, and it's a good lens for a show at The Blue Room.
That room is the intimate space inside Third Man Records' Wedgewood-Houston headquarters, which holds around 350 people and books indie rock, alternative, and experimental acts. It's the kind of place where you can actually see the performer and hear the room breathe, which fits with how Ballgame talks about his live sets. Evan Blix opens the night, so there are two sets to work through before the doors close.
