Fourth annual expo featuring craft hot sauce vendors, spicy eating contests, live wrestling matches, and food trucks.
The TN Hot Sauce Expo returns to East Park on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 6 PM each day. Now in its fourth year, it's a weekend that pairs craft hot sauce with spicy eating contests and live wrestling. Around 30 hot sauce makers show up, from Tennessee favorites to national brands, pouring samples that range from mild, fruit-infused blends to Ghost Pepper, Carolina Reaper and Pepper X. If you're not looking to set your mouth on fire, the milder stuff is there too.
The Stage of DOOM is where the spicy eating challenges happen, and the park adds live wrestling matches and a doggie Halloween costume contest to the bill. Food trucks and non-spicy drinks are on hand to cool the palate when things get too hot. The whole thing runs rain or shine, and there are no refunds.
