The Schizophonics - Burning Floor Tour

The Schizophonics bring their Burning Floor Tour to The Blue Room at Third Man Records on Thursday, October 10, with Dale Crover and Hans Condor joining them on the bill. It's a general admission, standing-room-only show, so you'll be on your feet for the whole thing.

Coming from San Diego, The Schizophonics have made a name for themselves as an explosive live act. They describe their sound as drawing on James Brown, Iggy Pop, Jimi Hendrix, Little Richard, The Sonics, and The Chats—a wide net that pulls in psychedelic rock, garage rock, garage punk, trash rock, and San Diego indie. They've often been compared to the high-energy rock 'n' roll and showmanship of The MC5 during their Grande Ballroom days, so if you're into that kind of raw, loud energy, this is right in that wheelhouse.

The Blue Room is an intimate space inside Third Man Records' headquarters at 623 7th Ave S, and it's open to the public every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. Along with the music, you'll find craft cocktails, a bottle of neighborhood brew, a Fatbelly pretzel, a lush outdoor patio, and a vintage dip 'n dunk photobooth. The regular programming there runs from live music and trivia to dance parties, guest DJs, art exhibitions, and 16mm film screenings.

The show starts at 7 PM, and tickets are $25.34.
