A tribute show honouring the life and music of Tom Petty, led by Clayton Bellamy and an all-star band, with Loose Lips opening the evening.
The Legendary Life of Tom Petty comes to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Sunday, October 18, at 7:30 PM. It's a tribute show honoring the life and music of Tom Petty, one of rock and roll's most influential singer-songwriters, and it returns by popular demand as a birthday celebration for him.
Juno Award-winning artist Clayton Bellamy leads the evening, backed by an all-star band. The show blends live performance with storytelling and visuals, tracing Petty's journey from his humble beginnings in Florida to global stardom. Along the way, they play hits like "Learning to Fly," "American Girl," and "Don't Come Around Here No More."
Nashville's own Loose Lips open the evening, so you'll get a local act to kick things off before Bellamy and his band take over. The whole night is built around Petty's songs and the story of how he got to where he did, from those early Florida days through the years of worldwide fame.
