A rooftop tribute concert honouring Journey and raising funds for breast cancer awareness and research, featuring Nashville artists.
The Fight For Nashville is a tribute to Journey taking place at the Assembly Food Hall on Monday, October 12. It's a rooftop show at the Skydeck, and the whole thing is produced by A Cause to Rock, whose events bring together artists and fans to raise money and hope in the fight against cancer. This one specifically raises funds for breast cancer awareness and research.
The lineup is a cross-section of Nashville's professional music scene. The tribute is performed by local artists and musicians, including band members from Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Dylan Marlowe, Chase Rice, Dylan Scott and Scoot Teasley. It's a big gathering of players from across the city's country and rock circles coming together for one night.
Logistically, there are a few things to keep in mind. The show is staged at the Box Garden, an outdoor covered venue, so it runs rain or shine. Because it's outdoors, umbrellas aren't admitted. The venue is standing-room only and cashless, so you'll need a credit card or a Hall Pass. It's open to all ages, and there's discounted parking validation available.
