Live music performance by Breaking Sound at the Eastside Bowl venue in Nashville.
Breaking Sound plays Eastside Bowl on Monday, October 12, with the show starting at 7:30 PM. It's a single-bill night, so the focus is entirely on them.
If you're not familiar with the room, Eastside Bowl is a bit of a Nashville curiosity. It's a bowling alley, a diner, and a live music venue all under one roof, and it occupies part of what used to be a Madison K-Mart. Over two years, Chark Kinsolving and Jamie Rubin—the founders and former owners of Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, The High Watt, and Family Wash—worked with partner Tommy Pierce, an investor in Basement East and A+ Storage, to turn the space into a 16-lane bowling facility. Along with the music room and the restaurant, there's an arcade of vintage pinball and 1980s video games, plus a retro bar and lounge area. It's the kind of place where you can grab a meal and a few games before the music starts, or hang out afterward.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind before you head over. The night is for ages 18 and over unless you're accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and you'll need a physical, valid government-issued photo ID at the door. Tickets are $15. Between the bowling, the diner, and the arcade, it's a spot that works as a full evening out rather than just a quick trip for a set, so arriving early gives you plenty to do before Breaking Sound takes the stage at 7:30 PM.
