Country music concert featuring Tenille Arts, with special guests Terri Clark and Gord Bamford, as part of the Opry 100 series.
Tenille Arts plays the Grand Ole Opry House on Thursday, October 29, starting at 7 PM. She's not alone on the bill: Terri Clark and Gord Bamford are joining her for the night, and the whole thing is part of the Opry 100 series.
If you're not familiar with her, Arts comes from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, and started writing songs when she was 13. She put out an EP and a studio album on her own before signing with Reviver Records in 2018. Her first record for them, Love, Heartbreak, & Everything in Between, came out on January 10, 2020, and gave her the #1 single "Somebody Like That." That song went double platinum and made a bit of history: it was the first #1 country song written, produced, and performed by all females, and the first country song by a Canadian artist to hit #1 in the U.S. since 2007. Before that, the last Canadian woman to do it was Terri Clark back in 2004—who, as it happens, is one of the openers for this show.
Her more recent work includes the 2024 album to be honest, which features "So Do I," a track written by Demi Lovato, Sasha Sloan, Laura Veltz, and King Henry. She's spent the last few years opening for some of the biggest names in the genre—Luke Bryan, Lady A, Scotty McCreery, Jordan Davis, Lee Brice, and Luke Combs—and has popped up on The Bachelor, the TODAY show, and the Kelly Clarkson Show along the way.
