Taste: The New Old Fashioned

Taste: The New Old Fashioned is coming to Nelson's Green Brier Distillery on Sunday, October 18, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. It's a culinary tasting experience built around tasting, with food and drink contributions from local chefs, bakeries, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Throughout the afternoon, guests vote for their favorite creations, and the proceeds benefit the Tennessee Pride Chamber Foundation.

Because it's a tasting event, the focus is on the spread rather than a single meal. You'll find a variety of bites and sips from across the city's food and drink scene—chefs, bakeries, breweries, wineries, and distilleries all contributing. The voting part adds a bit of a game to the mix: you sample your way through the room and cast your vote for the things you like best. General admission is $100, and VIP is $125. It runs from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Sunday, October 18, at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, and admission is restricted to guests 21 and over.
