Circus show 'Shadow Parade' by Suspended Gravity Circus at the Eastside Bowl bowling alley and live music venue.
Suspended Gravity Circus brings Shadow Parade to Eastside Bowl on Friday, October 23, with the show starting at 8 PM. It's a circus performance, and the title Shadow Parade is the name of the production they're touring.
If you haven't spent much time there, Eastside Bowl is a bit of a Nashville oddity. It's a bowling alley, a diner, and a live music venue all under one roof, and it occupies part of what used to be a Madison K-Mart. The whole thing was built over two years by Chark Kinsolving and Jamie Rubin—the founders and former owners of Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, The High Watt, and Family Wash—who partnered with Tommy Pierce, an investor in Basement East and A+ Storage. Together they put in 16 bowling lanes, a live music room, and a restaurant, and they didn't stop there: there's an arcade of vintage pinball and 1980s video games, plus a retro bar and lounge area. It's the kind of place where you can hang out for a few hours before or after the main event.
