Storytime at Lane Motor Museum

Lane Motor Museum is hosting another session of its storytime series for little ones on Thursday, November 19, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. The museum's reading series is built around auto-themed stories, songs and activities, and this particular session is led by Mia Myrick.

The whole thing is geared toward children aged 3 to 5, so it's a good fit if you've got a preschooler who's into cars. The session runs for half an hour, and since it's built around stories and songs, it's more of an active experience than just sitting and listening. The auto theme fits the setting, too — you're in a motor museum, so the cars are right there around you while you're reading about them.

If you're a museum member, admission is free. Non-members pay $10 per adult, and children five and under enter free, so if you're bringing a toddler, you're only paying for yourself. The session is at Lane Motor Museum, 702 Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, on Thursday, November 19, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.
