A songwriter session featuring J.T. Harding, the songwriter behind country hits recorded by Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton, at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
J.T. Harding is doing a songwriter session at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday, October 24. It's a short one—12:00 to 12:45 PM—and it's part of the museum's October program calendar.
If you're not familiar with the name, you've almost certainly heard the songs. Harding has a long list of country hits to his credit: "Different for Girls," which Dierks Bentley and Elle King recorded together; Kenny Chesney's "Somewhere with You"; Jake Owen's "Alone with You"; Darius Rucker's "Beers and Sunshine"; Blake Shelton's "Sangria"; and Keith Urban's "Somewhere in My Car." He also wrote the country and pop chart-topper "Smile" for Uncle Kracker, and his songs have been cut by Billy Currington, the Goo Goo Dolls, and the Jonas Brothers. That's a wide reach, crossing from mainstream country into pop and rock.
