Scotty McCreery - The Truth

Scotty McCreery brings his The Truth tour to The Truth in Nashville on Thursday, December 3, 2026. It's a country night with McCreery as the sole name on the bill.

If you've only heard the name and not the music, here's the run-up: McCreery is a North Carolina native who won the 10th season of American Idol in 2011 when he was 17. He went on to become the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album, the Platinum-certified Clear as Day, at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Since then, he's sold more than 4 million albums and put together five consecutive No. 1 hits. One of them, the Triple Platinum-certified "Five More Minutes," ended up inspiring two Hallmark holiday movies: Five More Minutes in 2021 and Five More Minutes: Moments Like These in 2022.

There are a few awards behind him, too. He took home ACM New Artist of the Year in 2011 and a CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2012, and he hit Pandora Billionaire status in 2021. He also wrote a book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream, in 2016, and was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame on October 19, 2023.

On the personal side, he married his high school sweetheart, Gabi, in 2018, and their first son, Avery, was born in October 2022. The show is part of The Truth tour, and it starts at 7:30 PM at The Truth here in Nashville.
