Live concert by Sammy Rae & The Friends at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, blending rock, folk, funk, soul and jazz.
Sammy Rae & The Friends play the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, March 11, 2027, at 7:30 PM. The band is fronted by singer and songwriter Sammy Rae, who describes the group as a family first.
Their sound pulls from a wide range of styles—classic rock, folk, funk, soul, and jazz—and it took shape after Rae moved from Connecticut to New York City in her early twenties. Over the years, they've put out two EPs, The Good Life in 2018 and Let's Throw a Party in 2021, and their debut full-length album, Something For Everybody, which came out in 2024. They've also played the main stage at Bonnaroo.
There's new material to hear, too. Two singles, "You Just Wanna Get With My Friend" and "Boogie All By Yourself," are out now. Between those and the debut album, there's plenty of recent stuff they can pull from for the set, alongside the older songs from the EPs.
