A guided 45-minute history tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium, exploring its backstage areas and basement with once-in-a-lifetime access beneath the stage.
Ryman Auditorium is running its Haunted History Tour on Saturday, October 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. It's a 45-minute guided walk that takes you backstage and down into the basement, with access beneath the stage that you won't get on a regular visit. You also walk away with a commemorative photo.
If you've spent any time in Nashville, you know the Ryman. It's called the 'Mother Church' for a reason, and it's one of the most revered stages in modern music. It opened in 1892, so it's been around long enough to hold a lot of ghosts. Over the decades, it's hosted artists across generations and genres—Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, Coldplay and Taylor Swift. The tour focuses on the parts of the building the public doesn't usually see, the backstage and the basement, and it's built around the venue's haunted history.

Most of the tour is accessible, though some locations may not be for those with mobility difficulties. It runs on Halloween night, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and the guided walk itself takes 45 minutes. The Ryman is in downtown Nashville, in the SoBro area.
