Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham performs with The Texas Gentlemen on his 'Still Gettin' Away With It Tour' at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen play the Ryman Auditorium on Sunday, October 18, as part of the Still Gettin' Away With It Tour. It's a pairing that brings together a singer-songwriter known for his cinematic storytelling and a five-piece band that's spent years backing some of the biggest names in country and roots music.
Bingham is a Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist whose sound pulls from folk, blues, country, rock, and mariachi. He's been at this since his 2007 debut, Mescalito, and has built a reputation for songs that feel lived-in and live performances that hold their own. The set will draw from his seventh studio album, They Call Us the Lucky Ones, his first full-length release in seven years. The record showcases his synergy with The Texas Gentlemen and draws on his time on the road, so it's a natural fit for a tour.
Beyond the music, Bingham has a few other things going on. He appeared on Paramount's Yellowstone for five seasons and launched his own bourbon, Bingham's Bourbon, in 2024. The Texas Gentlemen are a Dallas-based five-piece they describe as a "Texas boogie band," with a sound rooted in the rock and pop of the '60s and '70s and elements of funk, soul, country, R&B, gospel, and progressive music. Over the last half-decade, they've backed artists like Kris Kristofferson, George Strait, Joe Ely, Leon Bridges, and Shakey Graves.
