Daily ceremony by the Circle Guard honouring past Country Music Hall of Fame members in the Hall of Fame Rotunda.
The Country Music Hall of Fame is running its Road to the Hall of Fame: Rite of Remembrance and Salute daily in the Hall of Fame Rotunda through mid-October, and the next one is Sunday, October 11, from 1 PM to 1:30 PM. It's a short, half-hour ceremony, so it's an easy thing to slot into a morning or afternoon in downtown Nashville.
To get why it's happening: every October, the Hall of Fame formally inducts three new members, who receive country music's highest honor. For the two weeks leading up to that Medallion Ceremony, the Museum's Circle Guard holds this daily rite to honor all the Hall of Fame members who came before the newest class. During the ceremony, the Guard shares each inductee's biography in order of induction, starting from 1961 and working forward to the present day. As they go, the plaques of the members being celebrated are illuminated and adorned.
The Circle Guard does this in ceremonial garb designed by couturier Sandi Spika Borchetta, so there's a bit of pageantry to it beyond just the reading of the names. It's less of a concert and more of a living history lessonβa way to trace the lineage of the Hall of Fame from its earliest days up to the current moment, one name at a time.

It's held in the Hall of Fame Rotunda at 222 Rep. John Lewis Way S, and it's included with Museum admission, which means it's free for Museum members. The ceremony runs from 1 PM to 1:30 PM, so if you're already planning a day at the Museum, it's a good one to build your visit around.
