Grammy-winning bluegrass artist Rhonda Vincent headlines the Opry Country Christmas series at the Grand Ole Opry House, blending contemporary and traditional country music.
Rhonda Vincent headlines the Grand Ole Opry House on Sunday, November 29, as part of Opry Country Christmas, the special festive series that kicks off the Grand Ole Opry's holiday season. It's the opening performance of the 2026 series, so it's the first time the Opry House turns its attention toward Christmas this year.
Vincent is a Grammy winner known as the 'Queen of Bluegrass' and a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and she's the main feature of this particular bill. The format of the series blends contemporary country, traditional country, and bluegrass, all set within a Christmas theme. Since this is the opener, it's the first of several holiday shows the Opry will run through the season.
She's not on her own, though. The full lineup for the night includes John Foster, Riders In The Sky, Mandy Barnett, and Chris Scruggs and the Stone Fox Five with Ben Scruggs. Between the bluegrass, the traditional country, and the Western swing of Riders In The Sky, the bill covers a fair bit of ground across the different styles the Opry is known for.
