Professor Brian Cox brings his live science show Emergence to the Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 7:30 PM. It's his first Nashville stop since his previous tour, Horizons, which he took to nearly half a million people worldwide.
Cox describes Emergence as the most ambitious live show he's ever written. It weaves together cosmology, biology, philosophy, and history, all projected onto the largest and most advanced LED screens available and backed by world-class sound and lighting. The Guardian called it a "jaw-dropping reminder that human life is both irrelevant and hugely precious," and the Daily Echo described it as "dazzling and interesting."
If you're not already familiar with his work, Cox has spent the last 15 years fronting landmark BBC science programs, from the Peabody Award-winning Wonders of the Solar System to the worldwide hit The Planets. He's become a fixture of popular science in the vein of Carl Sagan, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and Bill Nye.
