Pop Evil

Pop Evil play The Truth Revolution on Wednesday, December 9, at 7 PM. It's a mid-week show, and they're the only name on the bill.

They're a hard rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, fronted by vocalist Leigh Kakaty. The rest of the lineup is drummer Blake Allison, bassist Joey Chicago Walser, and guitarists Davey Grahs and Nick Fuelling. The name Pop Evil points to what they do: aggressive riffs and hard-charging sing-alongs with emotional weight and melodic power. They draw on their blue-collar, middle-class roots to build a worldwide audience, and the sound puts them in the same neighborhood as hard rock acts like Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch and Halestorm.

Their discography runs through several albums: What Remains, Skeletons, Versatile, Opaque Gold, Onyx Bonus and War Of Angels. Frontman Leigh Kakaty is particularly known for his stage presence, and the set will pull from that catalog.

The Nashville date is part of their 2026-2027 tour, which runs from October 10 to December 12, 2026. The show starts at 7 PM at The Truth Revolution.
